*** March 25 UPDATE ***
Here's the latest emergency order from the Governor's office and guidelines from the Virginia Department of Health. We're listing the documents at the end of this post in case you haven't heard about them or found them elsewhere. 😀 All of the information is important. Here's the gist as it pertains to us:
Dine-in service is closed through April 23; continued closure will be assessed then. (Emergency Order) Carry-out and delivery service remains in effect; however, carry-out is limited to curbside and lobby pick-up. (VDH Guidelines with input from Governor's FAQ)
We are going to take credit cards over the phone through April 23. You'll still have to sign a receipt. Please call when you arrive for your pick-up order, and we'll bring it out to you. Have your pen ready! 😀 We appreciate your patience and understanding as we try to figure out the best way to get your order into your hands!
Please be safe, Everyone!
*** END UPDATE ***
To all our friends,
In light of CDC and governmental guidelines, we are suspending dine-in service until March 30. We want to protect you as well as our employees from coronavirus.
We will remain open for pick-up and delivery during our regular business hours. If you are concerned about personal contact in a more confined space, we will be happy to bring your order outside to you--just call us from the parking lot. And, starting March 18 through the 30th, we will offer delivery in Lovettsville from 5:00 pm until close; Saturday and Sunday--the 21st and 22nd--we will deliver all day. If all goes well, we will also deliver all day on the 28th and 29th. We'll stop taking delivery orders 15 minutes before we close.
We would like to recommend that you use credit/debit cards for pick-up and delivery instead of cash where possible--not because we don't like paper! And, of course, cash will still be accepted! It's just an extra effort to limit exposure to bacteria when hand sanitizer is practically impossible to find!
The most important point for all of us right now is to take socially responsible precautions to remain healthy and safe--and to keep our loved ones healthy and safe as well. Whether we see you or not during this crisis, we welcome the opportunity to serve you, and we look forward to opening the dining room so we can be together.
As always, we thank you for your support!
The VA ABC is now allowing curbside pick-up of beer and wine in their original closed containers is now available while Executive Order 51, State of Emergency Due to Novel Corona Virus, is active.
How it works: you MUST call in an order for beer or wine. We can only sell bottles of beer and bottles of wine. You cannot get a draft beer or a glass of wine. You also cannot order beer or wine if you enter the restaurant to pick up your order. (This measure is in place so that we are not allowing you to physically leave the building with alcohol. But, if you come in to pick up your order and decide you want to buy a bottle of wine, you can call it in from the comfort of your vehicle in the parking lot, and we will bring it out to you. 😃)
When you arrive to pick up your order, you must park in a designated spot for curbside pick-up and call us to let us know you're outside. An employee will bring your order to you and check your ID.
